BOTE the longstanding leader of innovation in the paddle board, kayak, and water lifestyle space, today announces the grand opening of its newest retail location in Austin, Texas. Located in the heart of Austin and just a few blocks from Lady Bird Lake, customers can easily hit the water the same day they visit.
The new 3,400 square foot space carries the torch of BOTE’s modern retail approach, creating an immersive, welcoming design that showcases the complete lineup of BOTE paddleboards, kayaks, docks, floats and accessories and also features a space for community to gather for events and regularly scheduled paddle demos.
BOTE is known for its unique styles and designs, and for developing products that cater to and enhance the water lifestyle. The brand offers everything from a first inflatable or solid paddleboard for the beginner to a pedal-driven kayak for the seasoned fisherman, and to customizable floating lounges to kick back and enjoy long summer days with friends and family.
“Our mission is to Stand Apart and create a lifestyle experience, and the best way to see what we’re about is to visit one of our retail locations where you can chat with our team, see, touch and feel the product, meet fellow paddlers, and even sit down for a drink,” said Zack Eckert, Vice President of Sales, BOTE. “We may be a Florida-based company, but we share common DNA with Austin through art, culture and music, and it was the natural choice for our first retail location outside of Florida. It all started with our founders Corey and Magda wanting to design products that help people get out and enjoy the water, and we’re honored to be growing and connecting with communities.”
The first location outside of its native Florida, BOTE ATX represents the brand’s continued growth and success with brick-and-mortar locations that serve as community hubs for paddlers and water lifestyle enthusiasts. In March, BOTE opened a retail location in the paddling paradise of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and the brand also has flagship locations in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Grayton Beach, and St. Petersburg.
