Leading global sports brand adidas – in collaboration with Marcolin Group – introduces the newest evolution of eyewear manufacturing with the launch of the 3D CMPT.
From the adidas DNA, characterized by an ongoing search for high-performance lines and materials, comes a frame destined to leave its mark on the evolution of eyewear thanks to the most modern technologies.
Driving innovation while exceeding the limits of what was formerly thought possible for performance frames, the 3D CMPT is built with the newest generation of 3D printers, using a flexible nylon structure that is treated with a special coating that creates a rubberized effect across the entire spiraling textured surface.
The limited-edition frame enters a new category of eyewear, not only in aesthetics but also in functionality.
The one-piece frame weighs just 20 grams and has an integrated spherical mirrored lens shield. Non-slip contact points on the nose pads and end tips give the frame an extremely comfortable fit while ensuring stability and dynamism through any type of training, competition, or all-day wear. In sport, and as in everyday life, the dynamic soul of the individual requires attention to detail. That attention and care have been translated into new shapes, weights, and volumes for sunglasses designed for game and playtime.
The adidas Sport 3D CMPT frame opens a new dialogue with professional athletes and creates a new opportunity for innovative trailblazers.
Made in a limited quantity, the 3D CMPT sunglasses will be available exclusively at Adidas.com during Creative Club Week for Club Members starting August 23rd, 2021.
