Stop looking for your next boot now
We’ll make this really simple for you, your next pair of boots will be from White’s Boots. Specifically, their Rambler and if you take our advice, (hey, we know a thing or two…) you’ll get them in the Distressed Rough Out finish, of the four available, though all are eminently wearable. From kickstarting your Triumph Bonneville to chopping some tinder for winter storage to a casual stroll in the woods or to the pub, these full grain waterproof full leather upper Ramblers are pitch-perfect. Hand-made, hand-stitched, made in Spokane, Washington by wizened craftspeople that don’t make anything that’s less than a rest-of-your-life boot. Everything about them is mendable, and replaceable, from the stitching, the full leather midsole, and shank, to the super comfy off-white Vibram 2021 Wedge Sole – a new model from Italian outsole experts Vibram. Built on White’s own ‘55’ shape high instep last, it’s got enough toe room for all-day, everyday comfort while presenting a shape that’s giving off a genuine work boot look, while still cashing a distinctly street-wearable vibe. The overall aesthetic and form dimensions of the Rambler are near perfection and the result is a boot that just can’t help but turn heads. Sure, none of White’s boots models are cheap and the Rambler is reassuringly expensive, at just shy of $600, but these classic boots are lifers, so divide that cost across the next decade, at least, and you’re actually looking at a total bargain. Plus, it seems you can actually buy style…
